Home The VDDHH maintains a Directory of Qualified Interpreters. The Directory provides credentials and contact information for freelance sign language interpreters in the Commonwealth who have granted VDDHH permission to include their information.
The Directory is divided into two sections: Nationally Certified Interpreters who live or work in Virginia who have asked to be included, and Virginia Quality Assurance Screened (VQAS) Interpreters who have asked to be included.
If you would like to be listed in the VDDHH Directory of Qualified Interpreters, please complete a Directory Release Form and email it along with supporting documentation to isp@vddhh.virginia.gov

At a minimum, this web site meets Section 508 and at least Level A Conformance to WCAG 1.0. On January 18, 2017, the U.S. Access Board published a final rule as the new standard for website accessibility. The rule requires adherence to the new accessibility standards twelve months from its date of publication. VDDHH is working towards WCAG 2.0 Level AA compliance.
